Renault Megane Coupe Service Manual 3dr Coupe 2017
Fantastic value for money with this car. Has everything you could possibly need such as bluetooth, mp3, heated seats, sat nav, auto headlights and wipers etc. Engine is pretty good too, especially for a 1.5.
I usually achieve between 50-53 mpg, despite the trip computer stating around 60 mpg. Pulls well for the engine size, however I had mine remapped for extra performance and it is now faster than the 1.9dci and can almost keep up with my dad's 2.2 Honda Civic Type S. 2018 honda cr-v prices. I have only had one issue with the car which I have now, and that is juddering around 1500 rpm in higher gears, however I have been told this could be my flywheel in which case could be my fault as the extra power from the remap may have caused this. Other than that I've had no problems. Only needs to be serviced every 18,000 miles too so is a cheap car to run which makes it fantastic value for money. Very good value second hand car.
I got the car in the Cayenne pepper orange which looks great, with the driving pleasure to match. You also get all the specs you can hope for in a modern car for not a lot of money (SatNav which works well, bluetooth which I found easy to setup didn't even look at the instructions, remote key card unlocks and locks the car when you walk towards/away from the car and keyless start). I initially had my eyes on something like a BMW 1 series or a golf but for the same money I can get a much newer Megane coupe with much better specs and it looks better! I tested all three vehicles mentioned above and the megane definitely felt the most involved as it should being the only car I tested which is being marketed as a coupe. Although there are only 3 doors I still found the car very practical with a massive boot and fold down rear seats, I didn't find the boot shape to be awkward at all unlike some reviews suggested.
I mostly drive around London with longer weekend trips to see my girlfriend who works in Sussex. The city manages about 49 mpg in the city and ticks up considerably when I hit the motorway. Although I have the smallest engine available (I think), the car will easily hit motorway speeds quickly.
All in all, very happy with my car and would definitely recommend to my friends. Beautiful looking car from every angle. 1.5 diesel (90bhp) low on power but reasonable on fuel. Remap has given it more pulling power without affecting mpg surprisingly.

Would probably avoid the 90bhp and go for the 110 as that is what this is producing now. Expression model is basic but is relatively cheap to buy, very cheap to run. Build quality is good, the odd rattle from the door cards but nothing more. Interior seems hard wearing.
Easy to get in the back but long doors make it awkward in tight parking spaces. Large boot swallows most things but odd shaped hatch makes larger objects tricky to fit in.

I love the car to bits but the renault dealer network and customer service have continually let me down. The car is now coming up to 3 years old with 2 breakdowns just before christmas with the repairs covered by warranty but i'm also left with a bill for over £1000.00 which includes myself having to pay for suspension checks again to prove there is a problem with the rear beam and front suspension. The two dealers near me have told me there are no problems with the suspension for the last 18 months until i find out they do not have the capability to check the settings!! Etc etc and renault want me to pay £800 for a years extended warranty for 'my' peace of mind!!!
